A Japanese zushi travelling altar with seated Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara (Kannon), the gold lacquered Kannon seated in dhyanasana, wearing a long dhoti on a lotus throne, elevated by a multi-tier base, carved with a serene facial expression, the hair coiffed and crowned with metal jewellery, the urna inlaid with a bead, late Edo period, H 41,5 - W 18,5 - D 13,5 cm
