Charles Sykes (1875-1950), 'Spirit of Ecstasy', gilt bronze sculpture for Rolls-Royce 66 cm. (25.98 in.) - Charles Sykes (1875-1950), 'Spirit of Ecstasy', gilt bronze sculpture for Rolls-Royce Signed 'Charles Sykes No 67' on the base. The figure cast in gilt bronze, raised on a tiered socle base with dark patina. The 'Spirit of Ecstasy' has been the mascot adorning the radiator grille of Rolls-Royce motor cars since 1911.
