GRAND TOUR BRONZE EWER BY WILHELM HOPFGARTEN. - 19th c., signed Hopfgarten Roma on the bottom. Wilhelm Hopfgarten was a German bronze founder who moved to Rome in 1804 to cast bronzes from ancient Roman models. Hopfgarten died in 1860. Height over handle 7 inches.
