Item Overview

Description:

Signed Etching of a New York City Park Scene, Circa 1904
23.5 x 28

An early 20th-century sepia-toned etching depicting a New York City park scene, circa 1904. The composition features tall, ornate early 20th-century style buildings forming a skyline, with a foreground of a park including a pond, trees, and walking paths, rendered in a realistic, illustrative style. The print is professionally framed under glass, featuring a wide, dark wood-toned outer frame with a thin metallic inner accent, and a broad white mat. A handwritten signature, appearing as 'C. Ch.' or 'G. Ch.', is visible in the lower right corner of the print.

The print shows overall toning and minor spotting or foxing consistent with age. The frame and mat appear to be in good condition. The reverse is sealed with brown paper backing.
