The first item features a reddish-orange glazed rim and base, with a dark, textured interior comprising radiating raised elements and a single cigarette rest notch. Its underside is marked ”80/7 ITALY”. The second item is a round ashtray with a mottled brown exterior glaze and an interior decorated with concentric rings of speckled ”fat lava” style glazes in earthy tones of brown, orange, light green, and black, complete with three cigarette rests. Its underside bears the partial inscription ”ITALY” and a model number that appears to be ”95/1769”. Both pieces exhibit a utilitarian yet decorative appearance.
