Lladro 'Madame Butterfly' Porcelain Figurine, Model No. 4991 - A Lladro glazed porcelain figurine titled 'Madame Butterfly', model number 4991. The piece depicts an East Asian-inspired female figure dressed in a flowing pinkish-mauve kimono adorned with light blue-grey butterfly motifs and a dark blue obi. Her dark hair is styled and decorated with multiple delicate pink flowers, and she holds a pale green-grey fan in each hand, posed as if dancing or performing. The figurine stands on a dark brown-green ribbed base. The underside of the base is clearly marked ”LLADRO HAND MADE IN SPAIN” with the characteristic bellflower logo, alongside impressed marks including what appears to be an ”M” or ”W” and a ”P, ” and possibly a diamond shape.
