A Chinese Hand-Painted Frosted Glass Ginger Jar, Famille Rose Style - A lidded, globular jar crafted from frosted glass, featuring extensive overglaze enamel decoration. The main body is adorned with a continuous hand-painted scene depicting two women and three children in traditional Chinese attire, engaged in outdoor activities under trees, with one child notably flying a kite. The scene is rendered in a vibrant palette of reds, yellows, greens, and blues. The domed lid is simply decorated with a single orange and yellow floral motif with green leaves. One side of the jar displays a calligraphic inscription in red Chinese characters, including the visible date ”戊子 二月十日” (wù zǐ, February 10th) and the inscription ”陳題” (Chén Tí, meaning 'inscribed by Chen'), beneath which a square red seal impression is present.
