A Chelsea Claremont Ship's Bell Clock and Barometer Desk Set - A nautical-style twin instrument desk set by Chelsea, comprising a clock and a barometer. Each instrument is housed within polished brass bezels and framed by dark-stained wooden ship's wheels with brass handles. The instruments are mounted on a shared rectangular dark-stained wooden base supported by four turned feet. The clock features a white dial with black Arabic numerals and hands, marked ”CHELSEA” and ”SHIP'S BELL”. The barometer also has a white dial, displaying measurements in inches, centimeters, and millibars, and is marked ”CHELSEA”. A central brass plaque on the base is engraved with a dedication: ”CONGRATULATIONS FOR A JOB WELL DONE / Commodore / Dr. F. Robert Ginsberg, O.D. / ALLATOONA YACHT CLUB / 1983 - 1984”.
