A 1923 Victor Victrola VV-80 Phonograph Cabinet - 19 x 43 x 23 A 1923 Victor Victrola VV-80 Phonograph Cabinet, featuring a dark reddish-brown wooden cabinet, likely mahogany or a similar stained hardwood, with a polished finish. The cabinet is designed with a hinged top lid that opens to reveal the internal playing mechanism, including a green felt-covered turntable, a metal tone arm, and a winding crank located on the right exterior side. The front of the cabinet presents two sets of double doors with round silver-toned knobs; the upper doors open to reveal multiple horizontal shelves, and the lower doors open to a compartment with curved vertical dividers, both designed for record storage. Ornate carved details are present on the legs, which terminate in casters. Visible markings include a prominent ”VICTROLA” logo with the ”His Master's Voice” dog motif and text reading ”VICTOR TALKING MACHINE CO. CAMDEN, N. J., U. S. A. PATENTED IN U. S. AND FOREIGN COUNTRIES” on the inside of the lid. A brass plaque inside the cabinet also reads ”LAMB PIANO CO. NASHVILLE, TENN., ” and another ”Victor” label is visible near the tone arm.
