Vintage Chinese Hand Embroidered Silk Panel, 'One Hundred Children' Motif, Framed - 20 x 31.5 A Vintage Chinese hand embroidered silk panel, depicting the 'One Hundred Children' (Bai Zi Tu) motif. The central embroidered scene features numerous lively figures engaged in various activities, including a dragon dance and a figure riding a Qilin-like creature. A '囍' character (Shuāngxǐ, meaning 'double joy' or 'double happiness') is visible within the design. The central panel is bordered by intricate patterns and mounted within a wider, dark geometric patterned textile border. It is presented under glass in a gold-toned fluted wooden frame. The reverse of the frame is affixed with a label reading ”FRAMELAND LTD.”
