Kitagawa Fujimaro, Japanese Ukiyo-e Woodblock Print, 'Autumn Maple Viewing: Moon over Mount Inaba' - 18 x 26 A Japanese Ukiyo-e style woodblock print by Kitagawa Fujimaro, titled 'Autumn Maple Viewing: Moon over Mount Inaba' (紅葉賀 因幡山月), also known descriptively as 'Ryoko no sanbijin' (Three Beauties Traveling) or 'Three Ladies on a Beach'. The print depicts three women in traditional kimonos walking along a rocky coastline with a distinctive pine tree, a turbulent sea, and distant boats, all under a light brown sky. Vertical Japanese text is present on the right side, accompanied by two red seal marks. The print is presented under glass, within a cream-colored fabric-covered mat, and housed in a silver-toned, possibly gilded wood frame. The reverse features a paper backing with discoloration, an ”ANTHONY HOLLIS FRAMES” label, and handwritten numbers at the top right.
