The wheel-thrown stoneware bowl features a two-tone speckled glaze, transitioning from sandy-tan to a faded blue-green, with incised detailing around the body. A visible potter's mark resembling an overlapping 'JB' or stylized initials is present on its unglazed foot. The companion wheel-thrown stoneware pitcher or large mug displays a speckled off-white glaze with exposed bands of unglazed sandy clay on its body and foot, and an applied handle. The rectangular wooden trivet features a central inlay of small white ceramic tiles and a distinct serrated edge on one side.
