Consistent with a rustic or studio pottery style, both pieces feature an off-white speckled glaze accented with horizontal bands of light yellow and thin dark brown lines. The bases are exposed and unglazed. The taller, cylindrical canister is adorned with a raised rectangular plaque reading 'PASTA,' while the shorter, more bulbous canister bears a similar plaque inscribed 'GOODIES.' Each canister is topped with a fitted, recessed lid featuring a small knob handle.
