A Trio of Roseville Pottery Magnolia Pattern Tableware Items - A three-piece American art pottery tea service produced by the Roseville Pottery Company in the Magnolia pattern, introduced in 1943. The set is made of matte-glazed earthenware with a textured, bark-like ground in shades of brown and tan with green accents toward the base. The decoration consists of relief-molded magnolia blossoms in creamy white with pinkish-brown centers on dark, gnarled branches. The set includes a teapot with a lid, featuring a flared spout and a distinctive high-arching handle; a single-handled creamer with a pronounced pouring lip; and a double-handled open sugar bowl. The base of the teapot is incised Roseville U.S.A. 4. The base of the creamer is incised Roseville U.S.A. 4-C. The base of the sugar bowl is incised Roseville U.S.A. 4-S.
