Two Marx Tin Lithograph Train Cars Including Southern Pacific 6000 Locomotive and Pennsylvania Boxcar - This lot features two vintage toy train cars produced by Marx (Louis Marx & Co.), including an A-unit diesel locomotive and a boxcar. The locomotive is lithographed with Southern Pacific Lines branding, bearing the number 6000 on the nose and sides. It features an orange and tan/silver color scheme and houses an internal motor mechanism with metal wheels. The boxcar represents the Pennsylvania Railroad Merchandise Service, numbered 37956, and displays the Keystone PRR logo. This particular boxcar features a dual-color design with one side in yellow-tan and the other in red. It includes sliding side doors. Both pieces are constructed from lithographed tin.
