The apron is characterized by a large central pierced rocaille shell motif, flanked by scrolling acanthus leaves and carved floral swags. It is supported by two cabriole legs decorated with an imbricated scale pattern and foliate carvings, terminating in scroll feet. The shaped white marble top features grey veining and a double-molded edge. The piece is designed for wall mounting, as it lacks rear legs. No maker marks or signatures are visible.
