Mid-Century Modern Solid Oak Cube Armchair - This mid-century modern armchair is constructed with a rectilinear solid oak frame in a geometric cube configuration. The frame features square-profile members joined with butt joints and mechanical fasteners, with the hardware concealed by circular wooden screw-cover plugs. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a burgundy-purple nubby-textured fabric over a core of one hundred percent polyurethane foam. The seat is finished on the underside with a black fabric dust cover. Affixed to the underside is a white state law label referencing compliance with furniture regulations in several states, including Pennsylvania registration number 1180 NC.
