The design features twin S-scroll side supports that hold the three flat steps in place. The rear of the unit is supported by two tall, architectural posts featuring a combination of ring turning and vertical fluting. The base step is integrated into a rectangular frame with recessed rectangular paneling, supported by four turned legs. The construction utilizes visible mortise and tenon joinery where the rails meet the vertical posts. 17.5 x 18.5 x 32 inches.
