Eubank Mountain Dulcimer and a High Spirits Native American Style Flute - This lot features two handcrafted musical instruments of American origin. The first is an Appalachian mountain dulcimer in an hourglass form, handcrafted by luthier Mark D. Eubank. The instrument is constructed from hardwood with a warm reddish-brown finish and features a scroll-style headstock. It is designed with four strings configured for three courses, a raised fingerboard with metal frets, and four f-shaped soundholes on the soundboard. The headstock is fitted with metal geared tuning machines and wooden buttons. An internal label visible through the upper f-hole reads: instrument handcrafted by: Mark D. Eubank 7295 Hwy 328 F. The second instrument is a Native American style flute produced by High Spirits. It is crafted from light-colored hardwood with a six-hole design. The instrument includes a carved wood block fetish secured to the top by a black leather tie. The flute is marked with a burned-in text stamp reading High Spirits and a circular logo containing a C shape above a stylized bird figure.
