Visible plates include Wisconsin (America's Dairyland), South Carolina, Wyoming, Louisiana (with pelican logo), Colorado, Virginia, Rhode Island, Maine (Vacationland), Indiana, Nebraska, West Virginia, New Hampshire, Prince Edward Island (with coat of arms), Minnesota, Michigan, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Florida, California, New Mexico, Ohio, Idaho, Alabama, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Vermont. The plates are hand-cut and bent to fit the wooden core, secured with various nails and screws.
