A Pair of Georgian Revival Mahogany Serpentine Bachelor Chests with Tooled Leather Tops - A matched pair of mid-20th-century mahogany bachelor chests in the Georgian Revival style. Each chest features a serpentine-front profile with four graduated drawers. The chests are finished in a dark mahogany tone and are mounted with decorative pierced brass batwing-style pulls. The tops are inset with brown leather panels featuring gold-tooled borders. The units rest on solid plinth bases with a shaped lower edge. The reverse of each chest bears a black stenciled mark reading NO. 490- LEATHER TOP. 29.5 inches H x 30 inches W x 16 inches D.
