Portugal * Rebuts postmarks * Illustrated postcard sent from Lisbon to Barreiro (21.02.54) with a revenue stamp of 50c, not accepted as postage, and therefore taxed, was refused by the addressee. As the postcard does not contain the sender's address, it was marked with a rectangular postmark “REFUGO / REBUTS” in Barreiro and re-sent to Lisbon, where it received the black postmark “REFUGO / REBUTS / 13 APR / 54 / LISBONNE / PORTUGAL”. Fine and scarce.
