Portugal * Post Office Strike * 1917/20 – Ceres. New colours and values. MF223a, 2c, orange, vertical dotted paper, perforation 12x11 ½. Horizontal pair on piece of a letter, sent from Lisbon to Elvas (23.03.20), to pay the first internal rate of a letter weighing up to 20g, cancelled with mark, struck in violet “CONFEDERAÇÃO PATRONAL / LISBOA – PORTUGAL / GREVE / CORREIOS / 1920”, received and delivered in Elvas by the Commercial Association, which stamped the letter with a black rubber mark, “ASSOCIAÇÃO COMERCIAL / DE ELVAS”. Fine and very scarce.
