Angra / Corr. d’ – In black, LF AGH1 on stampless folded letter dated from Angra do Heroísmo (15.02.1833) to S. Miguel, with the initial rate of 40 réis handwritten in sepia, amended to 20 réis, corresponding to the rate of an inter-island letter weighing up to 4 oitavas according to the “Angra Maritime Mail Regulations of 1831”. Inter-island letters are very scarce. Very well preserved and clean letter, with a well-strike mark. Ex-Luís Bensaúde.
