Madeira * In black, LF MAD, on stampless folded letter dated from Funchal (18.11.42) to Aberdeen / England (05.11.42) with transit via Southampton (19.11.42) with the English rate of 2s8d payable at destination, obliterated on the back with the mark of the English packet agent in Madeira “MADEIRA / NO 5 / 1842”. Very well preserved.
