Registered envelope sent from Madalena (02.12.95) to Dunedin / New Zealand, transiting through Lisbon (15.12.95) and by rail ambulance from Bordeaux to Paris (17.12.95) with a 50 réis stamp, light blue, perforated 12 ¾ and 100 réis, brown on yellow, perforated 13 ½, both on chalky paper, MF6 and 9ª, totalling 150 réis, to pay the first rate for a letter to countries outside the UPU weighing up to 15g (100 réis) and the registered fee. Stamps without damage or repairs, with good colour, cancelled with a black ”MAGDALENA” postmark and envelope with slight stains.
