Mozambique Company * 1911 – Elephants, with locally printed “REPUBLICA” overprint. MF70a, 100 réis, blue on blue, chalky paper, 11 ¾ perforation. Three mint copies, with original gum and hinge, no damage or repairs, good colour, two with type I overprint and one with type II, all with variety ”1” with SHORT POINT. Stamps with type II overprint not catalogued with this variety.
