Messejana – Insurance policy issued by the Messejana post office (20.01.1830) addressed to the Lisbon Insurance Administrator. The left margin features the national coat of arms with palms, reigning at that time was the absolutist king D. Miguel I. After Brazil's independence, the coat of arms of Portugal returned to its previous symbols, but with rapid evolution in form and representation, in line with the political events that dominated the era. Very well preserved.
