Portugal * 1935 – Lusíadas. MF520, 40c. orange-red, smooth paper, perforated 14, in Carta Ideal, with blue captions and engravings, sent from Coimbra (15.08.35) to Algés, via Dafundo (16.08.35). The CARTA IDEAL, which includes advertising for Praia Fluvial de Coimbra and is illustrated inside with photographs of the beach and monuments of Coimbra, clichés by RASTEIRO and advertising for `Ourivesaria e Joalharia Jacinto Silva, Lda., with patent registered under no. 2321, was authorised by CTT on 01.01.35, to Jaime Nascimento de Almeida, resident in Coimbra. A very rare copy, without repairs and very minor damage, well preserved.
