Grândola * Segura – In blue, LF GDL-S1 on an undated letter cover from Grândola to Estarreja, transiting through Lisbon (19.04.??), but referenced by Luís Frazão as dated (19.04.43), with rate paid of 310 réis, corresponding to 70 réis for a letter weighing between 2 and 4 oitavas for the 5th distance (more than 40 leagues) of 70 réis and 240 réis for the insurance premium. Only known letter, illustrated on page 553 of Luís Frazão's Catalogue of Portuguese Pre-Philately.
