Harbor * Maritime Mail – In black, LF PRT-CM1 and PRT2B on a letter dated from Porto (02.05.13) to Bahia / Brazil, by the Brigantim “Fragatinha”, with a rate of 80 reis, struck in black, to pay the first rate of a letter to Colonial Brazil weighing up to 4 oitavas when transported by Maritime Mail. Porto postmark and MARITIME MAIL postmark known only on four letters, all dated May and June 1813. The next postmark of the Porto Maritime Mail is only known from 1818 onwards.
