Trancoso / Segura / Postage Paid – Sepia ink, LF TCS-PPms1 + TCS-Sms1, on a letter dated from Penela da Beira (13.10.1820) to Lisbon, insured and with rate paid of 70 réis, handwritten in sepia ink, corresponding to a letter weighing between 2 and 4 oitavas, for the 5th distance (more than 40 leagues). The letter is very well preserved. Only 3 letters are known, all originating from the Andrade Sousa collection. This letter is the one listed and reproduced in the catalog of “Pré-Filatelia Portuguesa” by Luís Frazão. MR.
