Islands * Lisbon / Azores * Designation of Origin postmark – In blue, LF LSB-IL3 on a letter dated from Angra (July 27, 1949) to Lisbon (August 10, 1949) with a rate of 10 réis handwritten in sepia, corresponding to a packet letter from the Kingdom of the Islands to the Mainland weighing up to 4 oitavas, re-sent to Terceira Island and rate deducted at the Lisbon Post Office, with the postmark “ABATIDA” applied in blue, LF LSB ABT2. Letter well preserved.
