Porto / Stamp Act – In blue, LF PRT-Ley3 on a letter sent from Riga (17/29.07.52) to Porto (13.08.52) with transit through Southampton (04.08.52), with English rate of 1s/9p handwritten in red and Portuguese rate of 420 réis, struck in blue, corresponding to a letter coming by packet boats from England weighing between 2 ½ and 3 oitavas and postmarked with a struck blue stamp of the stamp act, without mention of the value charged, which should be 20 réis. Letter very well preserved, with the postmarks well struck.
