Cover postmarked with a rectangular green rate exemption stamp “PORTUGUESE / INDIAN / MAIL / EXEMPT FROM FRANCHISE”, sent by the German civilian prisoner named Postmark Fricke, crew member of the ship ”Brisbane” renamed ”DAMÃO”, which belonged to the Deutsche-Australische Dampfschiffs-Gesselschaft Company, Hamburg.
