Cover sent by a Portuguese soldier interned at the Alfa Detenus Camp in Ponda, with a rate exemption postmark stamped in violet “INTERNEES MAIL FREE POSTAGE / GOA (INDIA)” and a double oval stamp, also stamped in violet “HEAD QUARTERS / INFANTRY BRIGADE”. Circulated from Ponda to Figueira da Foz. Sent by Jorge Augusto dos Reis, 2nd Sergeant of the Commando and Services Company of the General Headquarters.
