Airmail Cover sent, from Beira (August 11, 1938) to New York, with 10c red and ultramarine stamps + 15c crimson and black stamps + 2x20c green and ultramarine stamps, horizontal strip of 3 80c crimson and green stamps and a 20c green-yellow and black stamp, MF174, 175, 176, 183 and CA14, totaling 3$25, to pay the first rate of ordinary mail for a letter abroad weighing up to 20g ($1$75) and the first rate of the air surcharge for a letter to the USA, via Southampton weighing up to 5g ($1$50) according to the rates tables of Decree 25,342 of May 16, 1935 and Instruction 3/1, published in the Official Gazette of Mozambique No. 10 of 09.03.38 – Series II.
