Cape Verde * 1914/18 – World War I. Incoming mail. Illustrated postcard circulated from Paris (July 29, 1918) to São Vicente / Cape Verde (August 11, 1918), with a 10 franc stamp. Censored in Porto with a black stamp “PASSED THROUGH CENSORSHIP / PORTO”. The application of the censorship stamp is difficult to understand, unless this stamp was not being used in Porto.
