Registered circulated envelope from Nova Goa (September 27, 1916) to Zurich (November 12, 1916) with transit through Lisbon (November 4, 1916) with Ceres type stamps of 3 réis, light lilac and 1T, light violet, both on chalky paper, perforated 15x14, stars II/II, MF258 and 264 ´ stamp of 4T, blue on blue, type D. Carlos I Mouchon, with “REPUBLICA” surcharge from the Mint, totaling 5T and 3 réis, to pay the second rate of a letter abroad weighing up to 15g and the registration fee. Double censorship with a French censorship band and a rectangular stamp from the Indian censorship, stamped in green “PORTUGUESE INDIA / CENSORED (3) / MILITARY CENSORSHIP”. Letter sent by the Austrian prisoner Antonio Vuyovich, quartermaster of the ship Verwaerts renamed ”INDIA”, which belonged to the Austrian Lloyd Company based in Trieste. B and R. Initially, prisoners of war in this camp did not have exemption from bail, unlike the camps of Bicholim and Aguada which enjoyed this privilege.
