Isolated copy in an envelope circulated from Lourenço Marques (30.04.01) to Kenilworth (09.05.01), with transit through Durban/Natal (07.05.01) to pay the first rate for a letter to the Union of South Africa when transported by sea and weighing up to 15g, according to the rate table published in the 1899 Postal Guide of the Lourenço Marques Post Office.
