A Pair of 19th Century French Terracotta Garden Planters - A pair of 19th Century French terracotta garden planters. Each features a tapered body with a flared rim and decorative horizontal banding or ribbing around the upper section. The style is rustic and traditional, consistent with an antique garden aesthetic. They are unglazed. Both planters exhibit significant weathering, extensive patination with varied hues of orange-brown and dark green, considerable moss and lichen growth, and numerous white mineral deposits or efflorescence, consistent with prolonged outdoor exposure. No discernible texts or manufacturer's marks are visible.
