Rummell (1848?1924) was a landscape artist and illustrator in the United States. His work includes bird's eye views of college campuses. He was commissioned be W. T. Littig & Company around 1900 for a series watercolors depictions of American colleges and universities. The panorama views are from an altitude of about 300 feet. His paintings were engraved on copper plates and sold in limited editions Framed and matted. In frame measures 42 1/2”x1”x29”.
