Some of the 130 illustrations in the large format work have been cut out and removed by a notable author for one of his own works. However, it is still a useful and interesting volume for illustrations that remain and much of the text. That said this lot is sold with all faults as a reading type copy only and not subject to return. In all other respects, this is a magnificent volume in bright pictorial boards, all edges gilt, only marred by the Philistinistic removal of some illustrations. 1890. We combine shipping on all lots.
