Flown Hercules. Personally Signed by Robert Hoover. Pilot of the Lockheed FP80 that was flown as Chase Plane to the rocket propelled Bell X 1 in which Captain Charles 'Chuck' Yeager became the first man to break through the sound barrier on 14th October 1947. WW11 Spitfire Pilot with 52nd Fighter group in Sicily in 1944 on his 59th Mission shot down and was taken Prisoner. Spent 16 months at the German Prison of War Camp Stalag Luft 1 in Bath. He managed to escape from the Prison camp and stole an FWw190 and flew to safety in the Netherlands. Certified Copy 95 of 100. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
