WW2 cover 617 Dambuster Sqn Attack on Arbergen Signed by W Gordon and R Blagdon 617 Sqn raid veterans. 21 Mar 08 The Cenotaph Whitehall. 617 Dambuster Sqn Attack on Arbergen 21 March 1945. Personally Signed by Sqn Ldr William ( Bill) Howard Gordon Pilot 617 Sqn. Decorations MBE DFC Squadrons 189, 617, 630, 99, 246. His Operations were carried out in Western Europe raids include Brunswick, Munich, Ijmuiden, Urft Dam ( these not with 617 Sqn) Arnsberg Viaduct, Bielefeld Viaduct, Hamburg - U - Boat Pens and Heligoland with 617 Sqn. Gordon was Pilot of'PD115' on the raid on the bridge at Arbergen on the 21st March 1945. and Personally signed by R ( Reg ) Blagdon air gunner with 61 and 617 Squadrons. His operations were carried out in Europe. raids on Siracourt, Boulogne, Lyon, Wizernes, St Cyr and Munich. The aircraft he flew in were Blenheim, Wellington, Lancaster, Liberator and the Dakota.
