Rare 1990 Benham Gallantry Full Set FDC Signed 9, 5V C holders, 1 GC Holders, 3 others. MM11 9 90 Chichester The Military Medal Special Postmark on Full Set of 5 Gallantry Stamps. Personally Signed by Marcus Ervine - Andrews VC, Col. P. A. Porteous VC, Sgt John Daniel Hinton VC, Eric Wilson VC. Edward Kenna VC, Lt Col B S T Archer GC Holder, Brigadier Alastair Pearson. CB DSO OBE MC TD. 8 Para Bn Pegasus Bridge 6th June 1944 Pearson was attached to the South Lancashire Regiment and served briefly in France during January 1940. On 8 June 1940, after the end of Operation Dynamo, he returned to France with the 6th HLI. He fought in the Battle of France with the Second British Expeditionary Force.
