John Major A formal 10 Downing Street Christmas card signed by John Major in 1991, (his second Christmas as PM) the card features a reproduction of the painting “Christmas at Downing Street” on the front by Anne H Mackintosh and is hand signed by the Prime Minister in blue fountain pen ink as “John Major”. Provenance: From the personal archive of Sir John Lacy, director in charge of campaigning for the Conservative Party and chief steward responsible for running the party conference at the Grand Hotel Brighton in  October 1984 when it was bombed by the IRA.
