WW2 Five codebreakers Bletchley Park signed 70th Anniversary Bletchley Park Enigma Reunion programme signed by 5 of the amazing ladies that worked there. Also postcard of the Colossus computer. Margaret Francis was a member of the Wrens (Women's Royal Naval Service) who volunteered for a supersecret effort during World War II to decode German messages sent via the Enigma machine. At a mansion called Gayhurst Manor, not far from where Alan Turing was working at Bletchley Park, Francis spent the last year and a half of the war tending to massive early computers, called the Bombes, that Turing invented. Francis, now 91, kept her role a secret for more than 30 years. Audrey Wind was a codebreaker at Bletchley Park during World War II. She operated the Bombe machine, a crucial codebreaking device, at the Eastcote outstation, which was part of Bletchley Park. She was recruited into the Women's Royal Naval Service (Wrens) and trained in Scotland before being assigned to the top-secret role at Eastcote. Good condition.
