A formal 10 Downing Street Christmas card signed by John Major in 1992, (his third Christmas as PM) the card features a reproduction of the painting “Horse Guards Parade” on the front and is hand signed by the Prime Minister , in blue fountain pen ink as “John & Norma”. Provenance: From the personal archive of Sir John Lacy, director in charge of campaigning for the Conservative Party and chief steward responsible for running the party conference at the Grand Hotel Brighton in October 1984 when it was bombed by the IRA.
