Cover depicts members of Armee Secrete meeting a Royal Air Force Lysander landing by moonlight in Belgium, RAFES badge and Armee Secrete logo. When the first Belgian soldiers returned home from captivity in August 1940 George Delon set up an office in a café in Louvain to help soldiers settle down. George Delon & 2 of his helpers decided to form a resistance movement. Contact was made with the Belgian Legion & the Louvain Secret Army was formed. Commandant Lambert & Lt Col Be gault were captured & executed. George Delcon although arrested & tortured by the Gestapo survived .Only ex Belian forces were allowed to join the Secret Army & over 54,000 joined. In the course of sabotage & attacks, 1100 were killed in combat,350 executed by the Gestapo & 4,500 died in Concentration Camps. Flown in Westland Lysander RCAF 2355 on its second flight after restoration, from the Strat Hallan Aircraft Collection.
